This was written one evening and I played it the next night at an open mic, so i’m pretty proud of this tune because of that. It’s also nice to have some fast ska sounds and a bit of distorted electric guitar, because that was the style I was originally going to do the album in, but when half of it didn’t work properly and I changed to a solo guitar style I scrapped about six songs, so even though this wasn’t one of them it’s cool to have one in the same style as I originally intended. Lyrically it’s mostly about the dole again, and how difficult it is to live on £100 every two weeks and still have a life so you aren’t depressed. It sums up what a lot of the album has been about, but it also brings them themes to a close in a sort of shrug-your-shoulders way which is why it is a cool closer for me.
