This is actually several years old, I was working on it with my mate Bez in 2006-ish for a proposed ‘reunion’ album for my first band, TJCB (the lyrics are about the breakup of said band), but it was never completed. I played it a few times live with BTP and cos it has easy chords a few people came and joined in with it so it was a fun song to play. When I recorded ‘The Scene Is Dead’ I changed it from a fast electric song to a slowed down acoustic one, and thought it would be good to open and close the record in full-on acoustic mode, so I revived this tune for the closer. And the keyboard? I was going for a ‘deserted British seaside on a rainy day’ feel. Don’t think I quite got there.
