One night I had the riff for this and said to Amanda “what should I write about” and in her infinite wisdom she suggested bedforts and sex, so I started writing about that which is what the chorus is about. These are probably my favourite set of words on any of the songs on the record, plus it’s the most personal song and the only one that’s genuinely about happy stuff, so I kind of like it. Plus, it has more ukulele which is always good. It was originally going to close the album which is why it has the big crashing outro, but I changed my mind and decided to end the album with an up tempo tune so no one got depressed
